The Palo Alto Lacrosse Club (PALC) was formed in 1965 by members of the Stanford Lacrosse Club when it was realized that the playing time was being dominated mostly by graduate students. Since then, PALC has participated in the Northern California Lacrosse Association (NCLA) which was formed in 1964, just a year prior to PALC.
Throughout the years, PALC has enjoyed many successes within the NCLA and in various tournaments throughout the country. Today, PALC continues to field a competitive team of players of all skill levels. PALC's philosophy is to put the best team of players on the field while still allowing the novice to join the team to learn the game and improve his skills.
PALC strives to have a good time on and off the field, but most importantly, PALC is very active in the community helping the sport of lacrosse develop and grow in the bay area. Many of the players are also coaches for local colleges, high school teams and younger leagues.
